WARNING: THIS IS A 124 MB DOWNLOAD On this week's show, we will continue our series of New York World's Fair tributes. We will present to you a special called "Disneyland Goes to the World's Fair", where Walt Disney takes you a look back to the past World's Fairs staring at the wary beginning and then, he will discuss plans for the New York World's Fair during a 2-year period from 1964-65 including a look at "The ENchanted Tiki Room" and "Carousel of Progress". And finally Walt will take you to the 1964-65 New York World's Fair where he will give you a tour of pavilions and then, he will give you a ride through of "It's a Small World" and then ends the show with a fireworks display. This was from an episode of "Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color" when it was on WNBC-TV (channel 4) back in 1964. I guess WNBC-TV was there on the scene from the fair. Next time, we will bring you a featurette called "To the Fair". Show #9 - 1964-65 New York World's Fair Report
January 29, 2008 06:14 PM PST
I'm back after a 4-week absence from the vidcast, but now the Brooklyn Mouse Vidcast is back and running. On this show which will be the first of many installments on the 1964-65 New York World's Fair tribute and in honor of the closing of "It's a Small World" at Disneyland for a 10-month rehab, we will bring you an old film from 1961 where HV Kaltenborn, a long time NBC radio news reporter talks about the plans for the Preparation, planning and construction for the 1964-65 New York World's Fair, under the imperious direction of Robert Moses. We will bring you some of the plans that they are getting ready for a special event 3 years before the opening took place. Next time, we will bring you an old episode entitled "Disneyland Goes to the World's Fair" as seen on Walt Disney's "Wonderful World of Color" TV show from 1964. Happy New Year From the Brooklyn Mouse Vidcast
December 31, 2007 11:28 AM PST
As we welcoming in to 2008, the Brooklyn Mouse Vidcast wishes everybody a happy and safe New Year. I hope you had a great 2007, because to check out new videos which will be coming to the Brooklyn Mouse Vidcast for 2008. This is a great idea for this short little vidcast, but I hope you'll enjoy it! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Show #8 - Christmas Tree Lighting in Rockefeller Center
November 29, 2007 05:33 PM PST
This vidcast is going to be very short, because we did the one from Walt Disney World with the lighting of Cinderella's Castle in ice, and the one from Disneyland where they did the lighting of Sleeping Beauty's Castle again in ice, and now, the moment you'll all been waiting for, the lighting of the Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center. This was from last night where a lot of great performances are on including the Radio City Rockettes, Tony Bennet, Celine Dion, Carrie Underwood and many others are part of the special. This was from a YouTube video, but no, I don't think it was off TV, because NBC will not distributed that segment because of copyright problems. Enjoy this very short video. It is almost a minute long to fit this short vidcast. Show #7 - Sleeping Beauty Castle Snow Show at Disneyland
November 20, 2007 02:32 PM PST
Last time, we presented the Cinderella's Castle Christmas lights show at Walt Disney World, and now, we're going to bring you another Christmas lighting ceremony at Disneyland where we will bring you the Disneyland Castle Snow Show with all of the lights has been lit up, just like the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree. This is quite similar to the one at Walt Disney World where all of the lights at Cinderella's Castle has lit up. Thanks to Chrisaustx on YouTube for this video. This was ripped from a YouTube video. This is a much shorter vidcast, but it lasted 4 and a half minutes to make this video a lot shorter. Show #6 - Disney's Golden Anniversary of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs"
